Clinical Supervision

  • For those who recently graduated from your clinical mental health program, social work program, or doctoral psychology program and want to work in New York City.

  • Work with me and specialize in working with adoptees, adoptive families, and birth families from a socially just, antiracist perspective..

  • For those already licensed, I offer clinical supervision via my practice for a specialization in adoption-sensitive treatment.

  • Courses on various aspects of clinical treatment for adoption-related concerns will be offered.

As a licensed psychologist in private practice for 20+ years, I provide clinical supervision for recent graduates from Mental Health Counseling (seeking their LMHC), from Social Work (seeking their LCSW), or Clinical/Counseling Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) who need supervised clinical hours to obtain their clinical licensure in New York State. Additionally, therapists seeking a specialization in working with adoptees, adoptive families, and birth families may also be candidates for supervisory practice. Given my specialization in adoption, supervisees will be given weekly supervision and can work within my practice. I offer specific attention to issues in transracial and transnational adoption and emphasize social justice and antiracism in my practice and supervision.

For those interested in either supervision alone or contracting as clinical supervisees within my practice, please contact me.
